In 2013 he defended his master’s thesis entitled “Targeting the ubiquitin-proteasome system and ubiquitin-like protein conjugation pathways for non-genotoxic therapy of cancer.“ In the same year, he began his doctoral studies under the supervision of prof. Wojciech Macyk. In 2016 he was a visiting researcher at the Catalysis Research Center, Hokkaido University, Sapporo. In 2019 he defended his doctoral dissertation entitled “Diversity of the photosensitization mechanisms of surface-functionalized oxide semiconductors.” He is currently a postdoc in the TEAM project “In quest of a more efficient quantum solar energy exploitation in energy downhill and uphill photocatalytic processes”. In 2019 he obtained MINIATURA grant, entitled “Selektywna fotokatalityczna redukcja aromatycznych związków nitrowych w obecności tlenku cynku dekorowanego nanocząstkami metali szlachetnych.” He is the author of an international patent and 7 papers and book chapter (cited ca. 170 times, h = 5).
