Two members of our group have attended the IV International Conference Oxygenalia 2018 in Vilnius (11-13 October 2018) where prof. Wojciech Macyk has given a lecture entitled „Metal oxides in photocatalysis – opportunities and limitations” and Magdalena Mikrut presented poster “Particulate matter from Kraków versus standardized air pollution: physicochemical analysis, HO˙ and singlet oxygen photo-generation”.
Few members of our group have attended the 10th European meeting on Solar Chemistry and Photocatalysis: Environmental Applications (SPEA10), held in Almería, Spain, on June 4th – 8th 2018. We have presented 3 lectures and 3 posters. The schedule of the conference was haeavily packed with lectures worth listening to. We are now back in Poland with new knowledge and ideas for future work!
We have hosted the EEPM3 conference which was a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in a wide range of fundamental and applied research areas pertaining to light harvesting, solar energy conversion and storage, environment remediation, clean technologies and sustainable chemical processes with the focus on photocatalytic and photoelectrocatalytic reactions.
Our group is going to organize the EEPM3 conference.
The 3rd International Symposium on Energy and Environmental Photocatalytic Materials (EEPM3) is the continuation of a series of conferences initiated in 2014. The conference covers a wide range of fundamental and applied research areas pertaining to light harvesting, solar energy conversion and storage, environment remediation, clean technologies and sustainable chemical processes with the focus on photocatalytic and photoelectrocatalytic reactions. This meeting serves as an inspiring forum for the discussion of interdisciplinary research from around the world through a variety of formats, including plenary, keynote and invited lectures, oral and flash presentations, poster sessions and commercial exhibition.
The conference will start on May 15th and will end on May 19th. More info can be found on the conference website.
Our results were presented at the 7th Czech – Polish Catalytic Symposium, held in Ostrava, Czech Republic, on February 3rd 2018.
The members of our group took part in conference Molecules and Light 2017 IV Autumn Meeting of the Polish Photochemistry Group organized by The Polish Section of the European Photochemistry Association (EPA), which was held from 25 to 29 September 2017 in Zakopane, Poland.
Four members of our group have attended the 16th Czech – Polish Catalytic Symposium (CzePoCat), held in Ostrava, Czech Republic, on 2nd to 4th February 2017. We have presented 4 lectures.

We are pleased to announce that the forthcoming, 21st International Symposium on the Photophysics and Photochemistry of Coordination Compounds will be held in Kraków, 5th-9th July 2015.
