Dr Kaja Spilarewicz received a grant in the Sonata 19 competition. The project “Nanoengineering of active sites in carbon nitride for single-atom heterogeneous photocatalysis“, investigated by Dr Kaja Spilarewicz, aims to produce and study the latest class of materials – separated single metal atoms localised on a semiconductor matrix (carbon nitride) – to indicate their potential application, which can later be used in practice.
