Our results were presented at the 12th Czech – Polish Catalytic Symposium, held in Ostrava, Czech Republic, on February 9th, 2024. We have presented 2 lectures. As always, the symposium was full of interesting presentations and inspiring scientific discussion.
We were honoured to host the V Autumn Meeting of the Polish Photochemistry Group, also known as ‘Molecules & Light.‘ This gathering, organized by the Polish section of the EPA, aimed to bring together researchers in the fields of photophysics, photochemistry, photocatalysis, and molecular spectroscopy. The event welcomed 86 participants, not only from Poland but also from countries including the USA, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Saudi Arabia. Throughout the meeting, we had the privilege of enjoying six outstanding plenary lectures, 39 inspiring oral presentations, and 37 impressive poster presentations.
In August and September, we actively participated in several conferences. Our journey began with the 15th edition of the biannual European Federation of Catalysis Societies (EFCATS) congress, EuropaCat, held in Prague. During this event, we shared our research findings through both oral and poster presentations.
Simultaneously, Professor Macyk presented our results at the French-Polish Chemistry Congress in Montpellier. Following these engagements, we seized the opportunity to showcase our work at the 8th International Conference on Semiconductor Photochemistry (SP 8), which took place in Strasbourg, France.
Members of our group attended the 20th International Conference on Carbon Dioxide Utilization, held in Bari, Italy, on June 25-29, 2023. We have presented 4 lectures and 2 posters. The conference was an opportunity to refresh contact with Prof. Aresta and Prof. Dibenedetto and meet our graduate Dr Tomasz Baran who started a position in their group.
Few members of our group attended the 11th European meeting on Solar Chemistry and Photocatalysis: Environmental Applications (SPEA11), held in Turin, Italy, on June 6th – 10th 2022. We have presented 4 lectures and 5 posters. We are now back in Poland with new knowledge and ideas for future work!

Our results were presented at the 7th International Conference on Semiconductor Photochemistry, held in Milano, Italy, on 11-14 September 2019. We have presented both lectures and posters that provoked fruitful discussions.
